World Book Day

As part of World Book Day, children were invited to come dressed as a character from a book, or someone or something they would find in a non-fiction book. We were wowed by the effort that children had gone to; the outfits were brilliant.

During the afternoon, we held a parent workshop based on reading, providing further information about how reading is taught and how children can be supported at home. It was great to see such a good turnout.

Finally, as part of the celebrations, each year group studied a non-fiction book, with work produced from this. The array of art and writing created was fantastic to see.
