Spelling

Please find the links for each year group’s spelling words; these words are a combination of the National Curriculum, topic words and vocabulary to help the children communicate ideas.
In school, as a strategy to spell , we encourage children to split the words into syllables and then identify the sounds within each one.

GPS Mat – To help you understand what the different GPS terms are.

Spelling Frame

Spelling frame includes all the words – both statutory and the example words – from the National Curriculum for Spelling for Year 2 to Year 6. Choose a spelling rule and each word is read aloud and provided within a sentence for context.  Children can choose to practise a set of words or take a test.

Coding

Remote Learning

In the event that school has to move to remote learning, this will be delivered daily through Google Classroom where we will teach the same curriculum remotely as we do in school, wherever possible and appropriate.
