Welcome back
9th June 2021Welcome back to the very last half-term of this school year. I hope you have all had an enjoyable break filled with lots of fun. I am delighted to be officially back at school following my maternity leave. I am incredibly proud of how far we have come as a school this year despite the challenges faced by COVID-19 and I would like to thank Mrs. Walker, along with the rest of the staff, who have continued to drive the school forward to be the best we can be for our pupils. I would also like to thank our parents and children for supporting the school during, what has been, a strange year.
The start of this week, saw me catching up with the children and visiting classrooms to see their learning in action and what I saw was overwhelming good. The children showed excellent learning behaviours and the classroom environments were calm and productive for learning. I also sampled some books where the children have shown great pride in their work, showing resilience and resourcefulness.
The school is looking great! Wonderful work created by brilliant pupils presented by talented staff! I do love the displays around school. Scroll through the photographs below to see more…
Finally, I look forward to the rest of the Summer Term with excitement and a real sense of positivity, with a huge ‘Thank You’ to all our children and school community for making it a magical and special place to be. I am sure this half-term will be a happy and successful one.
