Welcome back
18th February 2020We have approached the halfway point of the academic year. I would like to thank the whole school community for the support that has been shown towards the school so far, this academic year.
It’s difficult to imagine being more proud of our children’s achievements than I have been over the last half term.
Not only have they excelled in sport and TTRS and become an Official Community Partner for RUFC, but there has also been a buzz of entrepreneurial creativity, following a particularly successful Y4 medieval market, pulling together to raise funds for school. Towards the end of the half term, we were also lucky enough to be chosen as ‘Little School of the Week’, where some of our pupils were interviewed about school. Their interviews were then played on Rother FM’s Stewart Nicholson’s breakfast show!
Open Afternoon/Evening
We’re looking forward to welcoming you into school this week to meet with class teachers for open afternoon and evening. Once again, Tuesday and Thursday appointments will be held in the hall and Wednesday appointments in classrooms. The focus of this meeting will be to discuss your child’s attitude to learning and their current attainment in English and Maths. Please would you also complete and return a parent questionnaire when you attend.
