Pupil Roles and Responsibilities

At Sitwell Junior School, we aim to develop responsible, respectful and active pupils who are able to play their part in the day to day running of the school. We do this through providing them with opportunities to take on Leadership Roles across the school, but particularly in Year 6 as part of our Prefect Reward System. We believe that allowing children to contribute in this way to the life of the school will prepare them for life after school and encourage them become responsible and respectful citizens of their local community.

Some of the roles and responsibilities include: Head and Deputy Boys and Girls, Values Leaders, E-safety Leaders, Playground Buddies, Administration Assistants, School Council Representatives and Behaviour Champions.
