On Friday, 11th October, Y6 visited the polar regions, without even leaving the classroom! Through the wonderful technology of VR, the children became immersed in the wonders of these lands. Throughout the sessions, the gasps were heard frequently as they came face-to-face with some awesome animals, including the polar bear! Despite already knowing quite a bit, this experience further deepened their learning, standing them in good stead for the remainder of this topic.
